Parker Cassidy is an accomplished healthcare and life sciences executive with more than 25 years of operating, investment, and strategic leadership experience across diagnostics, healthcare technology, and life sciences innovation. As Chief Operating Officer at Cleerly, he oversees operational execution and strategic initiatives that support the company’s mission to transform cardiovascular care through advanced AI-enabled imaging and precision diagnostics.
Most recently, Parker served as a Partner with Sands Capital, where he applied his operating expertise to identifying and supporting category leading private healthcare companies, including the firm's investment in Cleerly. Prior to Sands, Parker served as CCO of Mitra Biotech where he launched clinical and research commercial teams and supporting clinical studies to advance the company's novel oncology diagnostic platform. Before Mitra, Parker worked at Becton Dickinson where his accomplishments included leading the acquisition of Handylab and the launch of the BD Max molecular diagnostic platform. Parker started his life sciences career with Upstate Biotechnologies, which was acquired by Merck Millipore.
Parker earned his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
