Christine Pellizzari, Chief Legal Officer

Christine Pellizzari is an accomplished legal and business executive with nearly three decades of leadership experience in the global biopharmaceutical, healthcare technology, and life sciences industries. She has served for more than 25 years as Chief Legal Officer or General Counsel of publicly traded companies, guiding global organizations through periods of significant growth, transformation, and strategic complexity.

Most recently, Ms. Pellizzari served as Chief Legal and Human Resource Officer of Science 37, a pioneer in decentralized clinical trial technology. Ms. Pellizzari helped manage the Company's initial public offering in 2021 and led the legal, quality, privacy, and human resources functions through the Company's acquisition in 2024. In this role, she managed a variety of complex legal matters and helped advance the company’s mission to expand universal access to clinical research through its decentralized clinical trial operating system.

Prior to joining Science 37, Ms. Pellizzari spent more than eight years at Insmed Incorporated, a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in serious and rare diseases. She most recently served as Chief Legal Officer, where she led the company’s global legal, corporate governance, compliance, government affairs, M&A, litigation, and intellectual property functions. During her tenure, she played a key role in obtaining marketing authorization in the U.S., Europe and Japan for Insmed’s first compound, in-licensing its second compound (which was recently approved in the U.S.) and acquiring additional clinical assets. Her leadership helped guide the company’s transformation from a development-stage organization into a fully global commercial enterprise and drive Insmed’s market capitalization from under $300 million when she joined to more than $40 billion today.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Pellizzari held senior legal leadership roles at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for nearly five years, where she led all legal aspects of the company’s successful initial public offering. She also served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Dendrite International, Inc. for nine years playing a key role on the senior management team and leading critical initiatives including the company’s sale to Cegedim S.A.

Ms. Pellizzari began her career at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, specializing in healthcare transactions and regulatory matters, following a clerkship with the Honorable Reginald Stanton, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
